Its a totally unassuming tiny space..it has one of the best, tasty Spanish foods to be had in the city. It is so fresh each day and served with care and love. The portions are huge. There is no fanfare with the decor, nor is there any pretense..its a family owned place, and if you want real food, go there
I enjoyed their mangu with salami and cheese. Delicious spanish breakfast to have anyday. You will be full for hours after eating this meal. Space is limited but worth a try.
Our first time in the area, we were passing through, and saw Genas Grill and had to try it. Its definitely authentic. We had the oxtail with rice beans the pollo guisado chicken stew, empanadas, and sweet plantains all of it was amazing. Everything was warm, fresh, and hit the spot. We will definitely be visiting more.
Dont even bother looking at the menu. Just ask them whats good today, ask for a plate of it and eat. Had oxtail, plantain, rice, then some beans and salad not in the pictures. Definitely ask for beans though!
This restaurant was just... wow. Amazing service it does help if you speak Spanish or at least go into there to with key words for ordering. The staff was so kind and helpful and gave us recommendations for his favorite plate the Pernil ...
